Imagine your favorite brewery. Now, imagine it being on 10 acres of farmland. This is perhaps the biggest brewery I have ever seen yet. Here, we take a very quick look to see what all the fuss is about!

In the heart of Virginia’s farm country, 2 Silos Brewery Co. opened its doors, or should I say, gates in 2017. Two imposing grain silos tower above visitors, for which the brewery takes its namesake. As you pass the gates, you can see there is even a large, tented wedding venue. Heading down the path towards the main entertainment area, you would think you are touring an agricultural theme park.

The brewery proper, 2 Silos Brewing Co., is a 30-barrel brewhouse that produces 8,000 barrels of beer each year. Adjacent to brewery is the main restaurant, the Pour House. Despite the high volume of customers streaming through these two venues, they manage to provide fast service, quick rounds, and hot food.

For a change of pace, try their more upscale restaurant, the Black Sheep. This one is actually a repurposed dairy barn that retains many of its original features and rustic charm, giving patrons the feel of country fine-dining, wine included.

Nestled between the brewery and old dairy barn is the Yard, a live music stage where local musicians perform every weekday. In just one sitting, about three performers graced the ears of probably 300 guests.

Other options for snacks, drinks, and novelties dot the brewery-campus, with several booths and seasonal food trucks at-the-ready, packed with treats, in case you want a quick bite while watching the show.

As for their craft beer, a wide range of styles are in their lineup, found here, all of which are locally crafted in Manassas. The beers have garnered 2 Silos several awards including many bests (SAVOR Virginia), Best of NoVA (Northern Virginia Magazine), and Best of Virginia (Virginia Living).

And best of all… Your canine companion will have as much of a blast as you and the children here. I highly recommend checking this place out.
